Hi guys, Yeovil fan here. According to the Oxford mail, we have James Clarke on trial for the next couple of weeks. Was wondering if you would give me some information on him and do you think he can make it in League 1. Many thanks  |

Clarkey is a solid centre back, who can also play right back/right wing back. Very quick with and without the ball. Strong tackler and header of the ball.
Pretty consistent also and will give his all for the team.
Whether he'll make the step to League 1 or not is a good question. There's only one way to tell.

You need to look at his overall play for us last season, Yeovil, Tranmere and Salisbury don't waste time on bad players, James is a quality defender, the only reason he is not playing at a higher level is because IMO of a reoccuring Injury yeovil were about to give him a contract when he pulled up injured in a PSF while on trial for them! He is often around our ground and am sure would address your comment  |
