Well done indeed! To put it into context, how many futsal teams are there in the country now, as the sport is spreading very quickly?

I don't know how many futsal teams there are in the country, as it is like asking how many football teams there are? We have a national league system with three main league; north midlands and south each with 8 teams. There are also second divisions for each group. The Oxford City Lions play in the Midlands group which is the highest level in the country and we won the Midlands group this season. There are also loads of futsal teams who play in the FA Futsal Fives leagues around the country, and this is the way into the national league system. Then we have the hundreds of other futsal teams playing locally around the country. I guess the best way to see what futsal is, and the quality of the Oxford City Lions is to come to a game and be suitably impressed as Oxford City have officially the second best futsal team in the country We have a friendly in a few weeks and I will pop the details onto the OCFC website soon.

Many thanks for that, and it shows what a great sporting community we have at OCFC. Long may it continue!
