Jason Mooney played for Tranmere in their friendly away at Cammell Laird yesterday (the whole game). Rovers won 3-0.

i would on behalf of our family like to thank Mike all the other coaching staff officials and most of all the supporters who in jasons words to us were unbeleivable for making jason and indeed ourselves when we travelled over to see the odd game very very welcome in his first season away from home. many thanks and good luck to you all for the coming season. ps. i will still be checking padz updates on a saturday afternoon

In my view, Jason is the best keeper we have had since Stuart Nelson--and he went on to play in the league, of course. We'll miss the Gentle Giant who did so well for us last season, but all good wishes to him--he has a lot of potential. Always welcome back at CPF!

Good luck to the big fella, got to say the two new keepers one on trial and the other signed have a bit of improving to do from what I have seen but there is potential there and more friendly to get a closer look, having said that Keith is very much up to the task!  |
