I know its been mentioned on another thread but there are two wetherspoons pubs in city centre and many other good pubs, the Red lion is good on george street near, the four candles, also known as fork handles, and the swan and castle just off of castle street both are large licence premises its important to note that in the football season they do have door men and any hint of any trouble the doors are closed this happened on only two occasions last year so lets hope safe journey and everyone enjoys the day! But save some cash for good range of beer and I know they have been stocking up at our clubhouse!

Bingo on Sunday, But teach you our local game Aunt Sally if you like! Normally only country bumpkins and cider drinkers can tolerate this game for more than five minutes, By the way watch out for worzel gummage a season ticket holder when he has his right head on!! ;D

Really looking forward to this game. Nearly two weeks in sunny Florida with only second hand Olympic coverage and mediocre American football on the hotel TV, and I am missing some decent footy! Flying back Thurs/Fri am, so just in time to get organised for Saturday. Come on you Hoops!

There is a bit of a debate around my local to how many you will actually bring down sat Some say 600 others 1200 in total do you have any Idea, cos if its 1200 I will be waiting a long time for that pint in a cue that will probably end up somewhere in marsh lane!

There is a question about whether the concessions offered for last years games is still Availible to united season ticket holders like last year on yellow player website! Any chance of replying please, I know you are in a higher league now and United have a new chairman?

Yes, we are offering a concession for United season tickets again this year. Entry will be £9 on production of your OUFC season ticket. Otherwise prices are £11 Adults, £6 concessions and U16s free. Don't forget this year you can buy tickets online in advance of the game - no booking fee applies - see the main website for more details. Looking forward to a bumper crowd on Saturday

Hi all i'm a Chester supporter just to let you know we took 2300 to Garforth, 2000+ to Northwich, over 600 to Ebbsfleet. the new Chester FC is a very well supported club both home and away and average 4-600 every away match. I would say we will bring 600 - 1000 to the game on saturday .We are all a very friendly lot so would not expect any trouble. Looking forward to the game.

Hi Chester fan, its difficult to say what our home support will be but combine with some united fans who do not travel to Bristol I would say could be 3 to Five hundred as the local rag and our manager has made you favs for going up,and you are a famous club. We are delighted to be in the position to play you and everyone is looking forward not only to our first game in the highest league we have been in, but some competative Footy again against a highly rated club I hope we can keep up to the high standard you play at Lets hope its an excellent game and everyone has a good day out

4 official coaches plus 10-12 mini buses filled so far plus some going by train and a large southern based Chester exiles plus cars. Yeh 600-1000 is a good estimate.
