Probably going to face one of the best front lines in this league today, Simo & Glover! Have not made a prediction on the last two away games, and we won so keeping quiet!

Attendance 365, about 250 Oxford and 115 Worcester at a rough estimate. Not a very exciting game (though the football was of a good standard overall) until the last few minutes. Worcester were better on the ball but didn't create many chances. Symo was given far too much space for their first goal and their second was a class free kick 'bender'. But City kept battling, all credit to them, and the subs came up trumps. Ref was harsh on us, booking four and none of the offences looked at all serious. Their no 5 skipper never stopped mouthing, had to be restrained from an assault while going off at half time, was all over Felipe and kept pulling his shirt, then had the cheek to complain because the ref didn't give Worcester a free kick for shirt pulling at the other end when it was six of one and half a dozen of the other! Yet he didn't get the booking he deserved...

You should have turned up for the alst 15 or so.....great entertainment, before that you didn't miss much . Im not sure City were tactically sound today. Thought Fordy had perhaps made too many changes just when we had started getting some momentum as we didn't start Ballard, Learoyd or Benjamin. I know we can't play them every game but id have thought rest 1 and play 2 of those 3, then maybe rest a less influencial player. Gunny got his first start and did Ok. Would rather have seen Cook down the middle and Barcelos out wide up top. Barcelos had an off day but Shereif and Cook worked there socks off. It was sloppy passing which looked like it was going to be our downfall.....far to many going astray and was a sloppy bit of passing which let them in for the 1st goal. Can't fault the lads for effort and things turned in our favor when Skendle,Ballard and Benjamin came on. Skendles goal had abit of luck to it as it was goal mouth scramble but Benjamin took his goal neatly, just knocking it under the keeper when some players might have powered it. One thing the lads must learn from this game, 1) DO NOT CONCEDE FREE KICKS IN STUPID AREAS IMMEDIATILY AFTER SCORING 2) Though it didn't work for them Worcester knew how to play for time. Waste it, annoy us and fool the (bloody useless) referee...we need to learn this art and fast. Oh Did I mention how much of a tool the ref was....not sure Ive seen an offical so bad since Cirencester a couple of seasons back. Attendance was: - 365 Worcester maybe 50-70 odd ? Edit Rijs beat me to it....Rijs's estimate is probably nearer the mark, City's attendance was still pretty dissapointing....

Looks like Worcester fans are complaining about too much time added on - hilarious after they deliberately held up play for ages at 1-0. What a bunch of pathetic idiots, embarrassment to their club. The attitude of some of their players stank too. Not a good impression all in all.
The referee and linesman down the non-seated side were a pair of tools though.

Close game with neither team really testing the opposition keeper till the end, though I thought Worcester were the stronger team. Certainly knew how to play the officials.
Given his earlier decisions, I was surprised the ref didn't disallow our goals for 'kicking the ball in the box' or 'being too close to the keeper'. I imagine that is what the Worcester players were complaining about following our first.
On the way out near the tunnel I was amazed to hear that the Worcester fans were thinking about booing the ref. Can't imagine why. Guessing it was the length of additional time played, so it was poetic justice that we scored in time added for them refusing to return the ball when they were winning.

"bunch of pathetic idiots"??!!At least we have some pathetic idiots!!250 home fans for a Bank Holiday local derby, 5 away followers at Solihull(not my figures-taken from a thread on this forum)and not many more at Gloucester(I was there). That's pathetic!

Just the comment you expect from summer troll go back to the skip, As a neutral, I enjoyed the game, although the ref was so poor it reminds me of when we had to suffer such bias refs in conference Prem well he was from Luton, probably a season ticket holder there and blames united demolision job of them LOL!
