Hi all,
There are still seats available for the team coach this coming Saturday - cost is £10.00 per person and the coach will be leaving City at 8.30am.
Seats are available on a first come, first serve basis and if you would like any, please contact either myself (ssmith@lsh.co.uk / 07961 488800) or Colin (ctoxford@btinternet.com) as soon as poss.
With regard to future games, I have spoken to a few of you over the last few weeks about potential away days for a bit of a supporters get together, either all going by minibus or coach.
The suggested dates are:
17/11 – Corby 23/2 – Histon 20/4 – Droylsden
Obviously plenty of time until Histon and Droylsden but if you think you would be interested in travelling on a minibus/coach to Corby, please let me know so I can get a quote.
Cheers Sharon

Sharon, I hope you meant Saturday for the Halifax game? I'm going by train and already have tickets for Saturday. The BSN fixture list also has it as Saturday!

A little perplexed tbh as to why Corby has been chosen as one of the 'aways'...Surely the more 'glamourous' games, i.e. Boston Utd at York St, Chester City, and maybe even Bradford P.A. would be the games to get Hoops fans in attendance. Boston especially, is a great ground, nice town..but a bit of a bugger to get to! Don't think I can make Corby..but there's a Wetherspoons opposite Rockingham Triangle!

Boston is also poor for parking. You can usually get a space in one of the side streets however. I looked up Corby on the Bing Map, birds eye view, but it still shows the old running track ground. Presumably it is the same entrance as before on Rockingham Road. If the Castle is open, it is worth a trip round, if you have time. Watch out for the 'speed humps' in Uppingham if going that way.

It is correct that there is a minibus going to the Corby game - cost is £17.50 and there are 16 spaces available on a first come, first serve basis.
The reasoning behind the Corby and Histon games is that many of us have other commitments on a Saturday morning (work, managing teams etc) and therefore travel time is important. With that in mind, I chose a couple of the closest games.
After the fun at Hitchin, we thought it would be good to make the last away game of the season a fancy dress away day and hence why Droylesden.
Obviously if others wish to make arrangements for other games, they are more than welcome - it does not have to be me who co-ordinates this - I am unable to make many away games as the Nomads are often at home when the First Team are away. If people do want to organise, they can post details on the forum and I can then arrange for details to go onto to the City Facebook and Twitter pages.
Cheers Sharon

Please note that, due to lack of numbers, there will no supporters coach to Corby.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
Thanks Sharon
