Are we likely to be segregated, as the forums show has happened with other teams' supporters?

Yeah I read that, apprently the stadium halifax is playing at isn't the most friendly according to there forums....I think the Issue is more H&S and the type of security they have who seem to like the heavy handed approach to solving simple problems. Still id have thought they could handle our 10 or so fans.....might bring back memories of stourbridge a couple of seasons ago...ey Padz?

Are we likely to be segregated, as the forums show has happened with other teams' supporters? One thing is clear from the site is you cannot transfer from one stand to another! The last guy who tried got dragged out buy the neck by two bouncers, apparently working with stewards, also an incident where colwyn bay fans celebrated there wining goal in the wrong end despite only two of them they were still ejected aswell so I would ask the most senior steward where he or she wants you to go presume the terraced only away end. Sad its non league

Away end used to be an open terrace behind the goal...no probs! Also, very decent real ale pub a 5 min walk away..Three Pigeons..I think!

Hi everybody, Some of things you are mentioning are indeed, unfortunately, correct, but I think there are one or two facts that you need to be aware of before you make the journey. The stadium is owned and run by the local council, they employ the stewards(aka bouncers), they have franchised the food and bars. beware of the stewards they ARE heavy handed and don't negotiate. The food is poor and expensive as is the drink. You will probably be in the town end of the East Stand. As mentioned, back towards the rail station there is the 3 Pidgeons a good real ale pub, also nearer the rail station is the Pump Room, again a good real ale pub. At the top of the same road is another good real pub Dirty Dicks, this one also does good priced good food at lunchtimes. None of these pubs are any more than 10 mins from the ground. Enjoy your visit, but hopefully not too much !! Attachments:

With seddon not doing his suspension for a while he is likely to start with Gregory upfront, We are going to need to be at our best !
No predictions again its going too well, but expect the toughest test of the season!

Well, it could have been a much higher score for Halifax, had our defence not played well. They also missed some sitters. The wide open spaces of the Shay encouraged us to play some good passing football, but after the fantastic opener from Chris Willmott we found it difficult to pierce the defence. Paul Stonehouse and Jack Mills did the best they could, and Andy Ballard and Liam Malone were everywhere as usual. We have to acknowledge that Halifax are going to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, so we need to move on and use the experience of this game to get the better of teams further down the table. We will hold our own in this division, that is for sure, based on the results so far, so keep on battling!

Yes agree with exile on everything he has said, we are not a club with a rich president or chairperson, and cannot Buy ourselves out of this league, we have to make do with what we have and work hard at it,we have shown in recent games that we can match teams in the middle section of this league and as Ford has said our goal is to stay in this league. To do that our home form must be good and we need to get our first home win Tuesday night!

As a Halifax fan I have to say that we aren't a club with a rich president or chairperson either. The only extra money we have had this season was from the sale of our best player (Vardy) and our televised FA cup game with Charlton. Good luck with the rest of the season. You played well last Saturday - but seemed to tire a bit in the 2nd half.

I think he was having a dig at our friends from Brackley who have the rich official who can afford to pay for the likes of hatswell etc!
