I think City will win 2-0 as the Boston players will be tired and suffering jet-lag after their flight over.

The match preview needs a little revision, unfortunately: it was Boston Town we played in 1979! I should know, I was there at Tattershall Road. They play in the United Counties League at Step 5. United play at one of the best non league stadiums, York Street, and at one time played in the Southern League.

Good day out a few years back, watching Northampton get a 2-0 win there...looking forward to the day up there in December!

Good to see him back from injury. A bit strange he played for Witney on Saturday - why not for Nomads?

Missed a cracker there 4-2 first home win, roll on ALTY! Yep only trouble is the leagues leading goalscorer has been at it again Reeves bagged all four of Altringhams goals tonite , I think he hit 40 odd last year, Fordy needs to make sure he doesn't get anywhere near our box as he doesn't miss many once through on the keeper, however they do conceed so we just need to score more than them!

Great result indeed and exciting game. Second half anyway. Wonder what Fordy said at half time? Clearly his version of the hair dryer treatment was effective as they came out a different team in the second half . Playing it on the ground, pressing them all the time and closing down might have been mentioned. Man of the Match suggestions anyone?

Difficult as they all played very well, i'd give it to Kynan Issac, although he only came on at half time he was definately the game changer, set up two goals, came close himself and caused the full back all sorts of problems

Me too. He ran the full back ragged.

Well done Fordy, but hey can we have Darren Pond centre mid from the off next time, made a big difference in creative play alongside Isaac

Disapointing attendance..given as 203, though thought it looked a bit more than that to me, having been among 229 Northampton at Plymouth on Saturday! Boston Utd is a fairly attractive fixture..would have hoped a few more floaters and (Oxford) United fans would have made the effort..fair play to those that did. Can only spread the word...was wearing my City shirt with pride in the Dewdrop beforehand!

Credit due to OxBox for superb video highlights for those like me who cannot get to every game. Mills' free kick- classic! More of the same on Saturday, please.

Excellent stuff OxBox, much appreciated...especially seeing myself bouncing up and down in slow motion after the first goal!
