I think harrogates home form has not been at its best yet,but it is very early in the season, there best addition to the squad Was in my opinion Shaun Killock former captain of AFC Telford, an excellent defender who Cooky, Bash and Dec should know, because he was on loan to united in 2009. Up front and returning to the club for a second spell is former Bradford city target man Chib Chilaka When on song he is as good as the best in this league. There ground is similar to ours so even after the long trip its not at a huge stadium like Halifax. I think if we battle and are in the same form as our last two games then hopefully there is a point in this, Harrogate 2-2 City.

I think we can take the game to them, we also have former league players with good records, both teams are very similar I think we will edge of in a physical game, Harrogate 1 Hoops 2 Dec, Bash for us.

Well done padz on prediction! At 1-1 it was a battle and could have gone either way, but we took control of the game gradually against a well drilled defence we seemed to want the win more, and Dec put us ahead about 15 mins from halftime. Second half we took comand and some excellent tackling and good play from pond, willmott, mills and stoney, with Basham a constant menace to there defence, and Warren was solid in goal, but had little to do as our defence pushed there front line out of the box,and there shooting was way off target, but my MOTM goes to Dec Benjamin two goals, and he was constantly back defending when needed, the home side never gave up even after Dec increased our lead, they thought they had got one back when they bundled Warren into the goal with the ball firmly in his hands, the ref made the correct decision giving a foul,Barcelos came on for bash and the home defence found it hard to cope with his pace, Issac and Learoyd came on and firmed things up as the home side ran out of ideas even with six mins added. Overall a very good team performance with Malone putting in his usual good shift!

Sounds like a good performance from the lads, I see they arn't happy in Harrogate about there own sides performance and they think we deserve our victory.
Dec is on fire this season, really upped his game from last year.
Roll on Corby!

Nice to see a United-size report and photo in the Oxford Times as well. Nearly fell off my chair.
