City vets took all three points against Pete Waterman's Goring last night, with a 3 - 0 victory at Milton. Goals from Pearce, Holden and Tommy Cooper was enough to give City a 100% start in the league. Match report to follow (Not that it will take long!)

Despite not being at their best City Vets beat Goring 3 - 0 last night!! With goring getting 10 men behind the ball, City had to be patient and eventually took the lead through Shaun Pearce.
Wayne Garbert in his first start for the vets was superb in midfield, and Darren Finch between the sticks was looking sound when called upon!
The gaffa made changes for the second half and City played at a much better tempo. Wayne Holden was looking sharp and was rewarded when he slotted home when clear through. With five minutes to go Andy Cooper drilled in from 20 yards with his left peg to seal the victory.
Attendance; 11, MOM; Wayne Garbert, sausage & chips 5/10
The gaffa would like to apologise on record for not giving his loyal assistant a run out in the second half!! Up the Vets
